These are terrible. It doesn’t fit 6x8 plates as I got both Mira and Spartan armor plates and neither fit. The spartan armor is slightly skinnier and still didn’t fit. Then the material started coming undone. Are these made in China? Sure seems like it.
They feel great work really well and do not flop or bounce around at all super comfortable and should hold up for a long time.
I was hoping to have the plates for these side plate pouches before I wrote a review. However since they asked here I go. I have had my RTS plate carrier for a couple of years and wanted to step up to lighter and better plates with side plate. I ordered the RTS special threat rifle light weight plate and then realized I needed these pouches. The pouches have come but not the plates! The pouches of course are very well made but the color of the multi cam seems very dull and I was disappointment that the molle boards are not multi cam like the ones on my plate carrier making them stand out but a minor detail. other than that and the fact that I cannot try them with the plates is kinda disappointing other than that I love them
They fit the plates an plate carrier perfectly! I will be ordering another set!

I thought it’s gonna be extra weight, but it’s holding weight balance of my vest. I realize it’s important to have it two plates from both sides. Love it.
Got the active shooter pack without elbow and knee pads and gloves and it was perfect so I had to get the side plates too thanks for everything rts y’all rock

There's a couple things wrong here. First off, I ordered these side plate pockets along w/ the premium 10x12 carrier from Optics Planet last week. The 6x8 III+ caliber armor steel plates barely squeeze into the pockets. They fit but I cannot properly close the hook n loop top. Tight as tight gets. Stitching on one of these is already coming undone which will not stop once it starts. Made in china on the inside tag is what it says. Of course they are. But the biggest thing is there's zero way to attach them to the carrier cummerbund. Apparently, the bund is supposed to also have hook n loop velcro to open slots to fit these side pockets & my bund absolutely does not open at all. It only has molle stitching & nothing else. The straps on these side pockets are 100% useless. Not sure the purpose of them. I can mount these plate pockets with the actual plates but they sag like crazy and sooner than later, will just fall out but more than likely, the chinese done stitching will just rip & tear. This is what budget spending gets you. I'd rather not spend $400-600 on Agilite, Spiritus, Crye, Shellback, etc... but that's what I gotta do. Gotta contact OP and set up a return
Stiching looked clean and well made. Plates fit in easly, plates seemed loose in the carrier at first but once attached and incereted there was no notable movement. Purchased multicam was excited to see the webing was multicam not tan.

Exactly what I was looking for in side plate pouches so I could wear them on either inside or outside of the cumberbun and not lose any Molly paneling space.
The team and customer service at RTS is fantastic. I ordered these bags with the hope I would receive them quickly after a snafu at my base where the issued me large side plates with a medium vest. Not only did I receive the product sooner than expected, but the bags fit perfectly and were easy to put on. Looks good plates fit nice and secure but pouches do not secure to plate carrier at all after bending down a few times they began to come unstrapped from carrier and had to constantly check them also they hang about 2-1/2 inches lower than the plates in the carrier and cause interference when drawing my weapon causing me to lean hard to the left in order to fully draw my weapon from the holster
yet to try em out but they look sturdy for the price.
I bought a pair of 6x8 gaurd dog side plates and these work perfectly for it.
Much better quality compared to what I was using.
This vest was provided by my employer and I was skeptical on this vest. Love it keeps me warm in the winter months and cool in the summer months.
