RTS Tactical Short-Sleeve Compression Shirts are available with NIJ-certified body armor options in Level II and Level IIIA protection levels. Under updated NIJ terminology, HG1 protection replaces the previous Level II ballistic protection language, while HG2 protection replaces the previous Level IIIA ballistic protection language.

Both protection levels are designed for common handgun threats identified in modern soft-armor protection standards across the United States.
