WHY WE MADE IT

We proudly support Special Operations, SWAT, and entry teams operating in some of the most demanding environments. These units need more than a carrier built simply to hold armor and equipment. They need a system that moves with them, adjusts quickly, and maintains its structure under heavy operational loads.

What armor is compatible with the RICO 2.0?

The RICO 2.0 is compatible with select RTS Tactical Commander, Relentless, SPK1, and SPK2 soft armor packages, along with compatible RTS Tactical hard armor rifle plates. Refer to the compatibility sections above for current options.

Can I add or remove rifle plates without taking apart the carrier?

Yes. The Side-Loaded Hard Armor System provides direct access to the plate compartment, allowing compatible rifle plates to be inserted or removed without fully breaking down the carrier or disrupting the rest of the loadout.

How quickly can the RICO 2.0 be resized?

The patented FlexFit™ Rapid Adjust Cummerbund System allows the carrier to be resized in seconds. This makes it easier to accommodate additional clothing layers, equipment changes, or different operational requirements.

Does the RICO 2.0 provide 360-degree soft armor coverage?

When configured with compatible RTS Tactical soft armor panels, the overlapping armor design provides continuous soft armor coverage around the torso.

What makes FusionX™ different from standard MOLLE construction?

RTS FusionX™ reinforces the laser-cut MOLLE platform to help it maintain its shape under operational loads. This reduces folding and sagging when the carrier is configured with magazines, medical equipment, communications gear, and other attachments.

Can the RICO 2.0 be used with hard armor and soft armor at the same time?

Yes. The carrier is designed to support compatible soft armor coverage while also accepting rifle-rated hard armor plates for increased protection when required.

Is the front placard removable?

Yes. The RICO 2.0 uses a removable, buckle-free placard, allowing operators to configure the front of the carrier around their equipment requirements.

Are the shoulder pads removable?

Yes. The low-profile padded shoulder sections can be removed or adjusted based on operator preference and equipment configuration.

Who is the RICO 2.0 designed for?
