The carrier is great took the 10x12 plates I have no problem. The only thing at this point I don’t like is the shoulder straps don’t stay on top if the padding. I would suggest another loop that the sholder strap goes thru to keep it on top of the padding. I will have to make something to fix that problem.

Neither impressed nor disappointed. They’re steel plates, they’re on the smaller side of true to size, true to the posted weight on my scale at 6.6 lbs each. I received a pair of asymmetrical shaped plates. Don’t notice it in the carrier and over trauma pads and spall guard. They work. Shipping was fast. Company is good. The plates are plates though.

I purchased an active shooter plate carrier from RTS on 12-29-23. I received said carrier on 1-22-24 and assembled it then tried it on. While trying to adjust the shoulder straps to pull up the back plate so it can sit comfortably high on my back, the shoulder straps are too long and now hang into my workstation triangle of my chest. I think the “one size fits most” category does not work. I tried going to returns and the website advised this item is unreturnable.

Shipping was super fast! When it comes to plates and carrier kits, RTS is the fastest shipping from what I’ve experienced! Kits are a good deal and of quality and from my own research and the countless amount of videos I’ve watched to inform myself of the many choices and brands. I went with RTS because of the dependability! Wish the “lightweight” plates were a bit more “light” but with steel plates, I’ll deal with 6.7-7lbs a plate. Only pet peeve is that I wish the kits included trauma pads. Overall a great deal, and will be buying again.

Awesome carrier. I was using a Condor, but this is much more comfortable and better quality. It is very easy to adjust, especially compared to my Condor. The color looks great and it's a perfect fit for the RTS level 4 plates. I added a Source hydration carrier to the back and several different mag pouches.
