The RTS Tactical XRT Level III+ RF2 Ballistic Multi-Hit Stand Alone Plate is a fusion of advanced technology and PE (Polyethylene) construction. Engineered to endure multiple hits from common yet deadly Rifle Rounds such as the 7.62x51 (M80), it epitomizes our ethos of no compromise on safety.

Crafted with precision, its Shooter Cut-Single Curve-Torso design ensures a comfortable fit, complementing your tactical movements. The plate's manufacturing tolerances are tightly controlled for consistent quality and reliability.

Adorned with a 1000 Denier CORDURA fabric finish, this PE-based plate not only meets but exceeds NIJ Standard-0101.06 specifications for Ballistic Resistance. It's a testament to our commitment to protect those who bravely confront danger, ensuring they remain Fearless in the face of danger.

LEVEL OF PROTECTION

Level III+ Rifle Special Threat ensures defense against specialized threats, setting a new standard for Ballistic Shield Protection.

Defends against: 5.56x45mm 62 gr. M855 (Green Tip) Russian 7.62x39mm 123 gr. MSC (M43) 7.62×51mm NATO M80 FMJ calibers.

  • TESTING PROTOCOL

NIJ certification of hard armor requires submission of 10" x 12" test plates which must demonstrate the ability to defeat specific rounds tested to a valid NIJ shot pattern, after exposure to stringent conditioning protocol to simulate aging and wear. Level III requires six M80 rounds per plate.

RTS Tactical Performance Fabrics holds itself to a higher standard by publishing the minimum number of shots that each size plate can be expected to defeat under similar NIJ testing methods, as well as listing many additional threats not addressed under the NIJ certification process.
