PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SR stands for Self-Retaining.
Retention was engineered into the foundation of the pouch itself.

The RTS Tactical SR Pistol Mag Pouch is built around a structural dual-sleeve retention system designed to secure a fully-loaded magazine through movement, rapid deployment, and sustained use.

At the core is a Mil-Spec woven elastic sleeve engineered to maintain consistent retention over time. Surrounded by an outer retention body built from RTS Tactical’s FusionX composite fabric technology.

Together, the system creates secure magazine retention with a streamlined footprint and fast, repeatable access under pressure.

The SR Pistol Mag Pouches are designed to retain a fully loaded mag through running, climbing, crawling, vehicle movement, and high-tempo operations.

A removable top flap is included for agencies or users requiring secondary retention, but the SR system was built to perform without it.

    This was exactly the extra pouch I needed. Sometimes having one additional magazine available makes more sense than adding a larger double pouch.

    RTS Tactical SR Single Pistol Mag Pouch

    Much of the trouble with the "ten speed" like stretch mag pouches is that they don't hold metal bodied pistol magazines very well.. so when the user bends at the waist or moves about, the magazine is "pinched" or squeezed out of the carrier and eventually the magazines falls to the floor and generally when and where its most embarrassing. This carrier's interior sleeve alleviates that issue and provides good retention even when bending at the waist or aggressive movements that are under taken will in high stress situations. This design holds metal bodied magazines (as well as the polymer magazines) with superior and sufficient retention while not digging in to your waist like the kydex models do. The even better part; while the design holds the magazine in place while in motion, they still release smoothly when you need them to! This design likewise gives a super flexible option for both CCW and for tactical applications. Really great piece of kit; very well thought out and extremely well priced! Ill be recommending these to my students in the future.
