First and foremost customer service is the best, any questions or concerns where handled right away. I spent a lot of time looking for my first plates and carrier and everything led me back to RTS. Researched a lot of level 4 plates. RTS are legit, a bit on a thick side over 1” but still fit flawlessly in my Diamondback Predator kit with soft level 3 armor I used in Iraq and Afghanistan. There are enough test videos on YouTube showing RTS plates taking multiple hits from 5.56 and 308. Solid plates from good, reputable company.

Great plates, watch the YouTube videos on RTS Level IV plates, they exceed Level IV Specs. The reviewers go way beyond what anyone would endure in trying to penetrate these plates. For the money, they are worth it. Be careful of some other makers which sell a 10' x 12" plate as when you look at the detailed specs are actually 9 1/2" x 11 1/2".
