For the money this is fine. I got the plate/carrier combo on sale. The plates rode pretty low in this rig. After ordering one of RTS’s carriers in my shirt size (XL) i realized I would have to size down if I wanted the plates to cover my vitals. I ordered a S/M. Plates still rode too low in its standard configuration but after synching the shoulder straps all the way up it’s pretty close. The threads started coming out in the first 20 minutes. I’m just gonna sow it back together with some Kevlar thread and see how the rest of it holds up. I’m not disappointed but not enough to have to deal with returning it and I don’t need this for my everyday load out. So if it’s not the most durable thing ever that’s fine. I really like the cummerbunds/waist straps. They just barely fit my waist but they do fit and I like that you can run rifle or pistol mags or a mini IFAK or whatever. I probably wouldn’t get another one but for the price I can live with it.

I like it a lot. I would suggest having options to add side protection to it and the option for a more concealed carrier vest for the included plates so I don't have to wear a heavy jacket to conceal it. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.
I have this vest and one of their other ones. Both of them fit and work well. But if you’re a bigger guy, this vest is the easiest one to get on and off and has plenty of flexibility. Not to mention the shipping is phenomenal. I received Everything within 3 to 5 days. Very happy with RTS
This will be my third order from RTS, Shipping and customer service is above and beyond. The packaging and box is super protective so you don’t have to worry about any items getting damaged when on the way to you… Other than that This is the cheapest armored that you can get, but the quality is still above and beyond. Multiple placements on the vest to put patches And comes with the American flag patch as well. Super lightweight, but thick padding for comfortability. The Mac holders on the side as well are a perfect size and tightness for a fill and grab.
These kits are great out of the box! (Bluey morale patches not included). They feel comfortable and are easy to move around in. We both have worn them doing workouts and while they don’t feel heavy while wearing them, they do add that burn on leg day. I’m 5’ 10” and 200lbs and wearing the L/XL while she is 5’ 3” and 120lbs wearing the S/M. No adjustment was needed on the plate carrier for me. She just needed the shoulders cinched up a bit and has a little bit of overlap in the cummerbund to make it wear snug. We both appreciate the added mag sleeves on the side for things like extra ammo and lip gloss. They also don’t add much bulk under a light jacket making them the perfect solution for protection without calling you out. Highly recommend!
Plate carrier is comfortable to wear. I was impressed with how well it was made and the benefit of being able to carry more ammunition. Made a great investment decision. Thank you RTS Tactical!
I am very impressed with the quality of the carrier and the Lvl 4 plates as well as the IFAK. I showed them to a few guys and they are looking to order the same plates.
A perfect fit high-quality fabric, great stitching, very comfortable would highly recommend it. I bought it as a secondary carrier, but it has now become my primary.
The carrier is solid for being so light weight. I am very happy with this purchase. After loosing my left leg, i needed something lighter than my combat carrier. This is my bedside carrier goes with me in my vehicle. While my old carrier won't come out unless SRHTF!
I pick this up for double duty usage. 1. To carry level lll plates of course but 2. To use for CrossFit. With the plates it’s almost 18 lbs of weight so it works for CrossFit. This is very comfortable and holds snug to the body without being bulky.
Sleek. Cordura mesh. Strong. Holds Up to four pistol mags or similar sized items in dedicated inner elastic sleeves inside the front side rifle mag sleeves. Super versatile. Breathes well. Plates are balanced and fit will inside the carrier and on the body. I’m hoping to never have to test their efficacy, but they are a definite boost in safety and peace of mind just in case. Will absolutely be back for more for myself and my family.
Pretty good slick playe carrier. I like the carrier no complaints about it but i tried to wear it conceal amd unfortunatly for me its still very visible. May need to get new plates
Fits great i just dont like that the plates have a half inch of space inside making it stretch out the the pocket. Makes me feel like that will be a worn out spot over the years making a possible hole in the fabric.
Great price and appears to be quality rig.
Inside is mesh for a little cooling and comfort.
6.5 lb plates front and back.
Loaded with some foam pads and super comfy.
It wears a lot lighter than when you pick it up.
Thanks RTS.
