The new FAST SF Next Generation Headborne System is Ops-Core's lightest weight ballistic helmet system yet. This weight reduction is enabled by the introduction of three new subsystems: the next-generation FAST SF ballistic shell, the LockDown™ Liner, and the Head-Loc® Flex chinstrap.

The next generation FAST SF helmet system combines reduced weight, enhanced comfort and uncompromising protection for those who demand the absolute best. As the exclusive provider of USSOCOM's FTHS helmet system, we deliver the performance and reliability trusted by the world's most elite forces.

FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS

  • Ballistic protection from 9mm rounds (1200f/s) with a shell weight of just 1.23 lbs/557 grams (Size L) the FAST SF offers the same level of ballistic protection as its predecessor but with a 10% reduction in overall system weight.
  • LockDown Liner System incorporates a user-customizable suspension system with multiple strategically placed pads, encouraging airflow. The LockDown Comfort Liner, featuring moisture-wicking fabric and reticulated foam, offers adaptable density for diverse head shapes and comfortably supports heavy VAS and NVG systems.
  • LockDown conformable nape pad and cable Occ-Dial® offer enhanced stability, securing a larger contact area on the rear of the user's head, adapting to individual contours for an improved fit compared to other, more rigid systems.
  • LockDown cable system enables an interference-free fit with headband communication systems.
  • Redesigned Head-Loc Flex retention system introduces a unique convertible chin cup that can be worn either over or under the chin, eliminating the need for a mask extender with the 02 and CBRN kit for most users.
  • PowerPath™ ARC Rail system provides a lightweight mounting solution for Ops-Core headborne systems and features a unique, behind the rail channel for the safe routing of NVG cables.
  • Lightweight Modular Bungee Shroud (MBS) reduces snag hazards and features carabiner clips to improve NVG retention and stability while reducing interference with other rail-mounted accessories.
  • External VELCRO® Brand loop kit allows for quick and easy attachment and detachment of headborne accessories.

The LockDown Liner System is a universal suspension solution that enhances comfort, airflow, and stability for heavy VAS and NVG setups. Featuring LockDown Fit Shims and a Cable Occ-Dial® with a conformal nape pad, it ensures a secure, customizable fit for any head shape, delivering unmatched performance in demanding conditions.

The Head-Loc FLEX retention system - featuring a convertible chin cup that adapts to your needs. Wear it under the chin for comfort or over the chin for added stability, with adjustable positioning to ensure a perfect, personalized fir for every user.

    This is a first for me. I never expected to be investing in this sort of thing. With events evolving as they are I've come to wonder what will be next. So, after some help on the phone with RTS Tactical I decided to get the helmet. The reason for 4 stars is my lack of experience. It seems bigger than I expected even though it fits well. I haven't taken the next steps yet to add hearing protection etc... and I will probably call RTS back for guidance. Otherwise, it was packaged very well and came with accessories and documentation. Otherwise I think it was worth it - even if it never gets used. Better to have it than not.

    The fit is excellent. The padding has just the right amount of give. Great protection for the back of the head including the occipital lobe. The helmet is much lighter than my previously issued helmet. This will make wearing the helmet long term much easier on my neck. The only negative thing is that at this price point the helmet cover should be included in the $1600 price instead of having to kick in an additional $140 for the cover. I have no problem recommending this helmet to anyone who wants a high cut ballistic helmet

    Amazing helmet I replaced an Ops-Core maritime fast ballistic helmet that was stolen with this helmet. I've never been more happy to replace something through my insurance after I received this helmet. This helmet is amazing. It feels significantly lighter than the previous model, new lux liner and nape padding is extremely comfortable, improved NVG retention system is legit, and the low profile arc rails are an unexpected nice steamlining touch in design. Highly recommend this helmet, especially if money is no object, lol, because it's a bit pricey.
